Every morning and every afternoon I feel like I have to check what new apps have been uploaded so I don’t miss anything cool.

But one thing I notice everytime I scroll through the pages is the apps for “virtual lighters”.

How many of these things does a person need?

No one even holds lighters up at concerts anymore, so what is the purpose of this app that every company feels the need to reproduce?

Stop with the virtual lighters, virtual flames and while we’re at it, no more strobe lights.

While it’s usually an annoyingly drawn out process, it pretty much goes as planned.

And then there is this guy who is easier doing it as a spoof, or desperately wants to beat anyone else to posting a video about something as simple as an Apple remote.

And yesterday, all new versions come out.
- The Nano gets a complete overhaul
- The Classic gets 120GB
- The Touch hits it’s second generation including built-in speakers

Anyone want to buy some used iPods?
Damn you, Apple!
